What is Ping Test?

As PING Stands for Packet Internet Groper, commonly the term PING used to send messages between Computers of any Network. But when the communication has been established between two networks then to check the Latency or Time Decay during Data transmission between two systems procedure to be done called PING Test.

Although in Microsoft Window there is built in PING Utility to conduct the PING Test. Apart from that this Utility is available for free on many websites. To run a Ping Test you should have to spot website or Remote Server/ Computer by its name or IP Address. Ping Test diagnosis the Network Connectivity Status between remote Computers, “Failed or Successful” and also a series of results which show the latency rate in milliseconds. PING Test values depend upon the quality of Internet Connection and for High Speed Broadband Internet Connection the value varies below 100ms. Contrary to this for slow Satellite Connection it may increase to 500 ms.

Lesser the Value of PING Test better would be Network Services!!
